Local dance companies Dorset Youth Dance, The Remix East, COAST Youth Dance Company (PDSW) and Co-Evo join forces.

Dancers from Dorset Youth Dance and Movers and Shakers came together during the second UK COVID-19 lockdown to create a short dance film, Tess.

Now, as part of Inside Out Dorset they also join with inclusive performance company The Remix East, COAST Youth Dance Company (PDSW) and Co-Evo.

The choreography is inspired by Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles and the beautiful Dorset countryside. The piece celebrates creativity, connection and nature.

This work was created with social distancing measures in place and yet the result is still a moving and passionate dance.
