  • Who is The Remix suitable for?

    The Remix, Premix and The Originals members include young people with physical and sensory impairments, young people with learning difficulties and non-disabled young people – all with a willingness to be creative and a desire to perform.

  • What should I bring to class with me?

    Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring a bottle of water and a snack with you.

  • Will I get to perform?

    Yes! The Remix presents 2-3 shows per year either live or through online events. Previous performances have included the Funky Llama Festival in Plymouth, Inside Out Dorset Festival and Street in the Park urban street festival in Dorchester.

  • What support is available?

    Support is provided by a fully trained and experienced team of support staff led by Care Manager Kayleigh Millett, who has worked with children and young people for over 10 years. The team have vast experience, many of whom work full-time as teaching assistants in special schools across the county. They all hold DBS enhanced certificates and an emergency first aider is present at all workshops.

    The Remix and The Premix are led by Artistic Director Aimee Hobbs. Aimee is a dance artist and has been working with the company for many years.

  • How much does it cost?

    The Premix sessions are £5 and The Remix and Originals sessions are £7.50.

  • How do I join?

    If you’re interested in joining any of our Remix groups please email Jude, our Project Manager. She’ll get back to you with details of forthcoming workshops and a registration form for you to complete.
