ReadActivate’s Youth Board, otherwise known as AYB (who doesn’t love an acronym!?) was launched in June 2016 and is a collective of young people, aged 16-25, who meet once a month to advise the organisation on its programme of work. AYB is currently formed of 7 young people, all of whom are passionate, driven and full of energy for the arts.

ReadThere’s much afoot here at the Activate office, including an exciting change in staff. As we bid a fond farewell to producer Anna Golding, we welcome on board Michaela Shaw who will take over from Anna, this month, as Part Time Producer, specializing in Youth Dance and Diversity.
ReadActivate is now in the final stages of a successful project working with the wonderful dance, theatre and circus company Joli Vyann, supported by the Bournemouth and Poole Cultural Hub.
