Future Forest

A collaboration between Activate and AUB Human at Arts University Bournemouth and their BA (Hons) Graphic Design and Interior Architecture and Design students.
For this visual drop-in exhibition, students were tasked with reflecting on the themes of sustainability, ethics, accessibility and inclusivity all inspired by the presentation of Luke Jerram’s Gaia in a forest context.

Access
AUB’s Future Forest will be shown digitally within a small shipping container, open on two sides and accessible via a small ramp. This will be located in the picnic area, approximately 206m from the Visitor Centre. Terrain is hard-standing tarmac changing to hard standing gravel to the area itself, which is then a mix of hard-standing gravel and compacted earth (levelled for accessible routes).
