Opportunity Overview

An older woman with short grey hair and a younger woman with tied back ginger hair pose for a photo.

Activate are looking for volunteers to support our event in Weymouth as part of this year’s Dusk til Dark from We Are Weymouth.

We are presenting an immersive light and sound installation – Wave by Squidsoup.

The event takes place on Thursday 24-Saturday 26 September 2026.

The location is Westham Bridge, Weymouth.

Volunteering is a brilliant way to get involved behind the scenes, meet new people, and help make extraordinary events in extraordinary places happen.

We’re looking for friendly folk who are happy to get stuck in. You might be welcoming people to the event, collecting donations, supporting access requirements or helping the artistic company.

We offer our volunteers a range of roles, doing tasks that match your skills and align with the experience you want. Full briefings are given ahead of the event.

“Thank you for making my volunteer experience such a positive one. Looking back, I am proud of what we all achieved for the community and visitors to Weymouth.” Inside Out Dorset festival volunteer
