Transitioning Landscapes: Artists’ Talk
This is a past event
Join us for an engaging artists’ talk where talented creators, David Koronczi (Slovakia), Rita Hoofwijk (the Netherlands) and artists collective RaraWoulib (France) talk about their work responding to transitions in the landscape.
You will hear about:
- issues of water extraction in northern Slovakia
- rising sea levels and pollution in the Camargue, France
- increased soil salination in Terschelling in the Netherlands, due to sea levels rising
Find out how the artists will be interrogating these issues, climate change and human interventions and how they will interact with communities/audiences in these locations.
This event will take place at Stone Villas, 9 Albert Villas, Chiswell, Portland, DT5 1AB.
Please register for your free place.
