Marketing And Communications Manager

Verity has been an arts marketer for nearly fifteen years and joined Activate in 2019. After studying Drama and Theatre Studies she worked in theatres, museums, a gallery and professional development in the arts sector. Verity also works as a freelance marketing consultant.

At Activate, she leads on all strategic and tactical aspects of marketing from creating print materials for Inside Out Dorset to updating the website, sending out newsletters to writing the organisation’s Audience Development Plan. She is passionate about arts and culture being accessible for all. Her specialisms are in copywriting, campaign planning and project management.

Verity’s favourite Activate moment: Seeing Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon at Nothe Fort in Weymouth.

When they’re not working: Verity enjoys exploring the Dorset coast and countryside with her family.
