Projects Assistant

Maisy is a recent French and Russian graduate and former EFL teacher who is excited to work with Activate on her first role in the Arts Sector.

Through the Breakthrough Programme led by Artswork, an initiative designed to help young people break into the industry through creative career support, Maisy is looking forward to engaging with the arts in a professional capacity and developing her production skills with Activate. She has assisted on many performing arts passion projects during her time as a student, most notably aiding in the production of a Charity Fashion Show at her university college as well as lending a hand doing makeup for several student performances throughout her educational career.

Maisy’s favourite Activate moment: Meeting the lovely team at Wave by Squidsoup, getting stuck in, and seeing the kinds of events Activate puts on for communities.

When they’re not working: Learning languages, watching films, drawing, writing fiction, embroidery, sewing
