Producer - Outdoor Arts, Festivals and Touring

Jenna became a permanent member of the Activate team in 2026, having thoroughly enjoyed her experience working on Inside Out Dorset 2025. She brings two decades of experience in the arts, spanning higher education, community arts practice, and freelance performance and producing. With a Master’s Degree in Community Dance, Jenna’s work, whether in teaching or production, consistently reflects her commitment to community, connection, and integrity. Her community dance and research practice has often focused on intergenerational play, creative co‑production, and using the arts to strengthen relationships between people and place.

At Activate, Jenna produces the biennial Inside Out Dorset festival and leads on the organisation’s outdoor arts events. She also works closely with our touring companies, supporting them as they share their work at outdoor arts festivals and events across the country.

Jenna’s favourite Activate moment: The very special evening performances of Lorna Rees’ Canopy at Inside Out Dorset 2025. Our partners at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest kindly let us experience the forest at night, guiding audiences through a gently lit Canopy trail to discover a choir in the glade. It was magical and such a unique experience.

When they’re not working: Jenna loves to move her body and can often be found going for a run, at a yoga class or dancing somewhere. She is a keen gardener and loves to spend time at the beach with her friends and family.
