Grace King-Turner

Trainee Producer

Activate’s Trainee Producer Grace King-Turner is a trained ballet and contemporary dancer, and is an enthusiast for all things live performance. As a first-class graduate of BA (Hons) Dance at Arts University Bournemouth, Grace was introduced to the world of producing whilst studying, and has not looked back since graduating in July 2025.
Grace has a breadth of professional experience within the dance industry as both a dancer and producer. Notably, she has undertaken producing work experience with leading dance-circus company Motionhouse, danced with the Cathy Waller Company and created and performed new work for stage at Pavilion Dance South West. She has also assisted the production of SADBOI by Simeon ‘Kardinal’ Campell (of BirdGang Ltd) at ‘Breakin’ Convention 2025.
As Activate’s Trainee Producer, she leads on the CREATE! programme, as well as getting stuck into Activate’s broad selection of engagement projects. She is passionate about amplifying the voices of emerging artists and sharing the opportunity to experience the arts as both a participant and audience member.
When not in the office, she can be found dancing, practicing yoga, or is off on an adventure travelling.
