Producer - Theatre, Education and Outreach
After completing a Music degree at Lancaster, Caroline moved to London where her first job in the arts was in Event Planning at the Southbank Centre. Her next role brought her to the South West, as General Manager and then Associate Programmer for the Salisbury International Arts Festival, before joining the team at Activate in 2017. As a Dorset resident she enjoys working within the Dorset cultural community and exploring and experiencing the diverse range of events both at indoor arts venues and outside against the backdrop of the fantastic Dorset landscape. Her role at Activate is diverse and exciting and includes working on the creation and delivery of the outreach programme for Inside Out Dorset, bringing schools, community groups and artists together, engaging with venues across the region and working strategically with the team to strengthen performance opportunities for all across the county.
Caroline’s favourite Activate moment: Seeing the community come together to enjoy Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon when it visited her local town of Sherborne and watching Pages of the Sea unfold on Weymouth Beach to mark 100 years since Armistice.
When they’re not working: Caroline enjoys long days out walking, especially with friends and family and back at home she enjoys reading and occasional attempts to brush up her musical skills on the cello.Back to team
