Volunteer at Inside Out Dorset 2025

Inside Out Dorset is now actively recruiting volunteers for our 2025 festival!

This year’s festival runs from 12th – 21st September and features exciting outdoor events across Moors Valley, Christchurch, Corfe Castle, Yeovil, and Weymouth.

Volunteering is a brilliant way to get involved behind the scenes of a world-class outdoor arts festival, meet new people, and experience performances in beautiful locations, all while helping to bring extraordinary art to extraordinary places.

Volunteers are at the heart of Inside Out Dorset

The festival simply wouldn’t be the same without the energy, commitment and enthusiasm of our volunteer team.

We offer a range of flexible roles to suit different interests, skill sets, and availability. Some of the ways you could get involved include:
– Providing helpful information to our audiences
– Supporting our Front of House team
– Assisting with artist liaison and logistics
– Helping collect donations
– Supporting disabled audience members to access performances

Whether you’re new to volunteering or a seasoned pro, there’s a place for you at Inside Out Dorset. Our team is small, friendly, and passionate and we believe in making things happen through collaboration, creativity, and inclusion.

Who can volunteer?

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and walks of life. You must be over 18 to apply (or aged 16–17 if accompanied by an adult). No previous experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and willingness to be involved. You might find yourself helping at an information desk, ensuring audience safety, or supporting our marketing team. Whatever your role, we’ll support you to get the most out of your time with us.
