On Sunday 22 March both The Remix (Activate’s inclusive performance group for young people) and Dorset Youth Dance (the contemporary dance company managed by Activate) performed as part of Origins, the youth dance platform. The fantastic evening at Pavilion Dance in Bournemouth showcased the very best in youth dance from across the south west region.
We’re immensely proud of all of those who took part. Members from The Remix and Dorset Youth Dancers from the Senior group showcased their routines which had been choreographed in their usual session times and rehearsed for weeks beforehand.

The atmosphere was electric and the excitement palpable. As well as The Remix and Dorset Youth Dance, the audience was treated to performances from Geraldine Lamb Dance Company, Somerset Youth Dance Company, Ballard School, Rise Youth Dance Company and Dance Stables.

Opportunities like this are so valuable to our youth groups and we’re proud they make up part of the wider offer for Dorset Youth Dance and The Remix.
