It’s only 3 more weeks until We Out Here begins, Gilles Peterson’s eclectic music festival in Wimborne St Giles which celebrates old school and the newest sounds and Activate will be there too!
Activate, for the second year running, will be part of the We Out Here Family Programme and we can’t wait to engage families and young people at the festival. Come and enjoy our workshops from the 15th – 18th August where will be showcasing the work of Isaac Farmer who will be performing amazing street dance, DJ Andy Cleeton who will be introducing newbies to the art of DJing and Dorset’s very own Isaiah Dreads who will be running cool rap workshops.
We are also excited about the return of Street in the Park’s three finalists who will be playing at We Out Here. Watch these 3 amazing DJs play to win and show their incredible talent.
You can also enjoy the frenetic and unmissable Working Boys Club, who have been touring the UK and Europe with their musical bar Serving Sounds, for the first presentation of Noisy Noise Noise, a sound installation created with the help of hundreds of noisy kids in Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole.
For the time at the festival where you are looking for solace, aim for the Boutique Cloudscapes based in the boutique camping where Gobbledegook Theatre will have a very special presentation of their restful show Cloudscapes that will enable you to relax and chill out.
