On Tuesday 20 December we organised a day of Christmassy fun as part of Dorset Council’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) and Shortbreaks programmes. We were delighted to be part of this wonderful day bringing Christmas joy to children and young people.
The event took place at Dorchester Arts where children and young people enjoyed a day of Christmas creative activities and a hot meal. There was a performance of ‘The Christmassy Christmas Show’ from the hilarious Squashbox Theatre, a delicious meal from Joey’s Family Food, a disco, and a special guest appearance from Santa himself!
The children and young people each received a gift from Santa and got up on the dance floor to enjoy the disco. Alongside this, Dorset Libraries provided each child with a wonderful book to take home. The families that attended had a great time and we received some lovely feedback.
