Taking place at Salisbury Arts Centre and led by Wiltshire Creative, Activate, in partnership with Wiltshire Creative, Pavillion Dance South West, Surf the Wave, Extraordinary Bodies, Diverse City, Circomedia, Theatre Bristol and Take Art come together with professional artists and industry professionals from across the South West to have meaningful conversations about pan-arts practice (dance/circus/theatre/music/live art/visual art/film) and key topics that are affecting the industry and its creatives.
It is a day of practical exploration of how sectors can work together to create work, ensure best practice, support artists and explore ways for programmers to develop knowledge/understanding of different art forms.

Wiltshire Creative in partnership with The Pound, Corsham and Town Hall Arts, Trowbridge
Now in its eighth year, Fest West is our pan-arts celebration and showcase of the best new dance, circus, theatre, music, film and visual art from across the South West, with performances and events at Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury Arts Centre, The Pound, Corsham and Town Hall Arts, Trowbridge.
Over two weeks in February each venue will host shows, workshops, exhibitions, films and the TheatreFest West Symposium on 28th February 2019 will explore pan arts practice in partnership Pavillion Dance South West, Surf the Wave,Extraordinary Bodies, Diverse City, Circomedia, Activate Performing Arts, Theatre Bristol and Take Art.
We have a number of companies in residence at each venue and you are invited to a glimpse what they are working on each week over the festival period.
On the Thursday and Friday of each week Wiltshire Ctreative will put together a bespoke schedule for industry professionals where they can preview new shows in development followed by an evening programme of events. Contact Wiltshire Creative for more information.
