Theatre Fest West 2017 Call Out for Submissions, Salisbury Playhouse

Theatre Fest West is Salisbury Playhouse’s annual celebration of work made in the South West. 
There are more opportunities than ever to take part in the 2017 festival:
WRITERS! For the 2017 festival we are delighted to announce the Theatre Fest West Writer’s Prize, where the winning writer will have their script produced by Salisbury Playhouse.

THEATRE MAKERS! Salisbury Playhouse is now on the lookout for small-scale professional productions that are available from 10-25 February 2017 to be part of next year’s festival, and would love to hear from theatre makers who are either based in, or have stories to tell about the South West. Each year the festival hosts a range of work from emerging and established theatre makers, new writing companies, interdisciplinary artists, dance companies and artists who make work for children and families. OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEATRE MAKERS WORKING  IN NON-THEATRE SPACES: Salisbury Arts Centre is interested to hear from South West companies with proposals for site-specific projects, or projects taking place in non-theatre spaces. Please send a brief overview of the project (no more than 250 words), target audience, draft headline budget and any known technical information to by 1 August 2016 at 9am

R&D SPACE OPPORTUNITIES:The Pound in Corsham, Trowbridge Arts and Salisbury Arts Centre are all able to offer R&D space for South West companies developing new shows next February. If you are interested in developing a piece as part of the festival then please email one of the below venue partners with a proposal of the work you would like to develop by 1 August 2016 at 9am
