Elevate Integrate summer school- 5 days of creative dance, The Point
Elevate Integrate summer school is an event for disabled and non-disabled young people who have a passion for dance and would like an opportunity to make new friends while expressing themselves, inventing and creating using movement. The week is led by one of the UK’s leading integrated professional companies Stopgap Dance Company. During the week participants will take part in a daily warm-up class followed by time to explore their own choreographic ideas in an accessible and friendly environment, using improvisation and contact work, through the guidance of Stopgap Dance Company. The summer school is suitable for all including those with limited movement or verbal comprehension.
Please note, all Elevate places are limited. Potential participants must complete an application form and ensure they adhere to the application criteria. Deadline for applications is Monday 4th July 2016.
