We are seeking an individual to play a key role in the development and delivery of our Creative Events Management degree, an innovative three-year course which has been running at AUB for over 20 years. Focusing on the business aspect of the course, you will ensure teaching and learning reflects and informs trends in the contemporary cultural sector, giving our students effective financial management skills and critical understanding of event planning from a financial perspective.
Strong practical financial experience is essential, along with a good working knowledge of business/events management and an understanding of the arts, cultural or creative industries. You will also need an interest in teaching in learning, having comprehensive teaching skills combined with a background in creative event production.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant subject area and should also hold a teaching qualification or Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship Membership or be willing to work towards gaining this qualification within two years of being recruited to the post.
