Borough of Poole Museum Service seeks a creative heritage professional to project manage the delivery of an HLF-funded project to conserve and celebrate Sir Anthony Caro’s important "Sea Music" sculpture on Poole Quay
The purpose of the project is to preserve and protect Sea Music for future generations, establishing a sustainable funded maintenance programme, to provide enhanced access to and enjoyment of the heritage for the community and visitors through engagement, interpretation and volunteering, to revive tourism to and help regenerate the area, and to encourage understanding of the qualities of Sea Music through an artistic programme which will explore and celebrate the intentions of the artist and meaning of the sculpture.
The Project Manager will manage the capital project and associated activity programmes, ensuring their successful delivery on time and on budget, managing day to day operations and working with key stakeholders and contractors.
We are looking for a skillful and resourceful project manager with a proven track record. You will be, a self-starter with good communication and administrative skills and a creative person with an understanding of heritage and arts issues.
