Salary: to £30,000 pa for 12 month fixed term contract, (may be extended)

Hours: 37.5 per week (some evening and weekend working required)

Mayflower 400 is a key project for the city of Southampton. Great events are planned, demonstrating the multiple benefits of strategic cultural investment and how we can work together across the city to reconnect visitors and residents with the city’s heritage and promoting Southampton as a cultural destination.

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Project Manager to develop a Heritage Lottery bid to match funds already secured as well as support the development of further funding for arts and cultural programmers.

You will:
1. Lead on the operational delivery of major projects – the primary focus being Mayflower 400

2. Work with stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities for joint working in creating an improved heritage and tourism linked to Mayflower 400 and delivered across Southampton.

3. Support the development of a 10 year strategic vision for Heritage across Southampton

4. Develop and submit an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Heritage Grants programmer, including all relevant financial and RIBA information necessary for the development stage of the project.
