Call for applicants for Pitch. 2016

Pitch. is a platform for emerging dance artists to showcase their work. 2015 saw the birth of Pitch., an idea that was conceived and created by Ashley Hind, Ellie James and Luke Brown. The first ever Pitch. event was created in conjunction with Lift Off Dance Festival at South Hill Park Arts Centre.

In 2016, Pitch. will be returning to The Wilde Theatre at South Hill Park Arts Centre on Wednesday 4thMay, as well as The Point on Thursday 7th April. Each event will feature the work of 5 emerging artists.

Successful applicants will benefit from the following (please note a small fee of £35 will be required towards the cost):

  • Technical support and guidance
  • Professional standard photographs
  • Video recording of the piece in performance
  • 1 review by an upcoming writer
