The Arts Development Company announce the launch of their new ‘hot desking’ space; Parade View @ The Little Keep.
In July 2015 The Arts Development Company moved their office from the County Council into The Little Keep building with an idea to transform what was once empty rooms into an exciting creative hub, where creative organisations, businesses and companies can network and communicate together and with others in the Dorset area. They strive to use arts, culture and creative activities to enhance people’s wellbeing and help the development of children and young people. They also work on creating jobs and boosting tourism within the area to keep Dorset fresh and exciting. The Arts Development Company find it important to encourage people from a wide variety of cultures, organisations, communities, councils and stakeholders to engage with the Arts creatively.
At the far end of the old parade ground stands a building consisting of a central square tower with wings to the left and right. Today it is known as ‘The Little Keep.' The 'Little Keep' is now all that remains of the old Militia Barracks. The Arts Development Company are proud to be situated in a building with a vast and rich connection to the military history of Dorchester. The Little Keep houses many companies working in the creative sector and now creative individuals have a chance to join them.
The Arts Development Company are offering creatives in need of office space the chance to work in Parade View @ The Little Keep. Hot desks are available to rent on a short-medium term basis and will give the opportunity to work in a calm, creative and collaborative environment. Desks in Parade View are perfect for creative individuals from bloggers and web developers, to freelance dancers or students.
