CALL OUT FOR PARTNERS: SoundStorm Music Education Hub
WHOLE CLASS MUSICAL INSTRUMENT TUTORS
MUSIC EDUCATION PRACTITIONERS
Favourable rates of pay
SoundStorm is the lead partner of the award-winning Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Music Education Hub. We work with over 30 partner organisations and music education practitioners serving 100 schools and their communities across the second largest conurbation in South West England.
We are currently looking to refresh and widen our pool of locally-based musicians and tutors.
We are particularly interested in hearing from music educators with experience in delivering imaginative, First Access whole class instrumental tuition in primary schools, across any genre; plus singing specialists, ensemble leaders, world music practitioners – and anyone with exciting ideas as to how engage young people in music.
We cover all types of school, including infant, primary, secondary and special.
Work is not guaranteed and depends on demand. However, subject to a successful audition, all successful practitioners become part of our network of providers and can also attend bespoke CPD sessions arranged by the Hub.
Successful applicants will need to have £5m Public Liability Insurance and an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. We can advise how to obtain these.
If you are interested, please email your CV and a few lines outlining your instrument, genre and experience to claire.white@bcpcouncil.gov.uk. If you would like to chat to a member of the team before applying, please do phone Dan or Michael on 01202 451508.
There is no deadline for applications but we are currently developing our programme for the 2019-20 school year.
