Candidates need to be currently claiming Jobseekers Allowance and be between the ages of 18 - 24 to apply as this is a funded placement.
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

PLANNING AND DELIVERY:
Support the Marketing Officers in delivering marketing campaigns, specifically through researching lists, updating databases, seeking quotations.
Gather copy and images for the website and brochure ensuring it is promptly filed on the server.
Assist the marketing team with the production of programmes. Liaison with creative agents to collate actor and creative team biographies, writing/editing content, checking staff lists are up to date
Develop, update and contribute to the marketing ‘how to guide’ Maintain the core diary for the marketing team, planning marketing meetings, booking
rooms as necessary, taking meeting notes, updating and distributing meeting action
points. Manage the marketing campaigns for a small portfolio of studio show ensuring any
activity is delivered within budget.
Help maintain information, files and record systems for the effective documentation and evaluation of marketing activities, ensuring archiving of appropriate material
Attend meeting with members of the marketing team and take meeting note as a record of the meeting
Redirect customer enquiries and assist with telephone and email requests for general information
Oversee weekly print deliveries, file delivery notes and maintain the weekly print stock check.
Fill leaflet and poster display in a timely manner in accordance with the print schedule ensuring they are up to date and well presented. Update the print schedule as required.
Keep the print room tidy and organised. Log film posters and ensure they are passed to Duty Management. Chase missing
posters via distribution companies.
Pre season campaign preparation - overprint posters and leaflet , send print quantities to companies on request, book external distribution.

Contract type: Fixed Term 6mths Scan the media for press cuttings, collate and scan all cuttings and file as appropriate on the server.
Support the Market Officer (Digital and Communications) through producing the monthly listing update. Mail monthly listing updates to all media sources.
Assist in setting up of special promotions and initiatives. Attend press nights and events, as required.
Assist the Communications and Digital Officer to crop and resize images and upload to the website
Update Twitter on a daily basis – suggesting new ideas and creating content. Help create new Facebook content. Update the plasma screens ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
Assisting the marketing team on monitoring and updating our website, including using our content management system, ensuring all text and images on the website are kept up to date.
Work with the team to develop and input new content. Upload the Bi monthly film programme to the website
Maintain and develop good contacts and working relationships with colleagues, customers, artists, contractors, suppliers, stakeholders and external organisations in order to promote the value of the work we deliver.
Attend regular team briefings and ensure that the flow of information, to and from the department is clear, accurate and timely.

supporting it’s Sustainability Policy. To include recycling, switching off lights, computers and equipment when not in use. Help to reduce paper waste minimising printing/copying, reducing water usage and reporting faults and heating/cooling concerns promptly
Represent the company at performances, meetings and events, as and when required.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
An active interest in marketing, communications and fundraising. Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal. Good administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel) Excellent telephone manner. Ability to multi task and manage workload. Ability to use initiative and work independently. Ability to accurately follow defined processes. Good research and internet skills. Attention to detail.
Previous marketing, fundraising or events experience. Experience of web updating using a content management system. A college or university student or having recently completed study.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility. Knowledge of social networking and digital media.
