Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced individual with the strategic, people, financial and systems management skills to fulfil the role of Head of Finance and Operations in this major arts organisation.
The BSO’s mission and unique remit is to be a cultural beacon for the South and South West of England, defining what it means to be an orchestra of international standing serving a geographically and socially varied region. The BSO aims to be a cultural leader, and, embracing its role as the largest performing arts organisation to the south and west of London, to help shape local, regional, national and international agendas.
The Head of Finance and Operations is a key post in the Company, enabling the BSO to continue to be successful and to develop, whilst building resilience. The post is key in supporting the Chief Executive, Board and Senior Management Team in managing corporate accountability, and ensuring robust systems.
You will be expected to manage a considerable workload and to add significantly to strategic and operational management. You will need outstanding communication skills and the confidence and ability to lead and inspire a range of colleagues and partners.
