In Between Time (IBT) produces extraordinary artworks, adventurous festivals and unusual events in Bristol and across the world’s art centers, and its docksides, stately homes, forests, streets and doorways.
In Between Time is a leading national producer creating the influential In Between Time International Festival and a growing programme of unusual artistic projects that tour across the UK and the world every two years. IBT encouragse artists and audiences to think, to dream, to do things they have not yet imagined.
From 2016 IBT will enter their next important phase of organisational development to realise a new scale to their vision. Bristol International Festival has the potential to be a world leading, globally influential biennial. A radical new festival for one of the UK’s most radical cities, and an event that enriches the lives of many people. The role of the Executive Director is critical to this future.
The Executive Director works with the CEO/Artistic Director to ensure IBT’s financial and organisational success. A critical member of the IBT Senior Management Team, the Executive Director works closely with the CEO/Artistic Director in developing and delivering the strategic vision of the organization. The Executive Director is expected to lead the financial and organisational management of IBT and share responsibility for fundraising, partnerships and networking with the Senior Management Team. The role manages the day-to-day running of the organisation leading on the delivery of all statutory legal and administrative obligations and stakeholder reporting.
Employment Basis: Full Time (37.5 hrs/week) including regular evening or weekend work and travel within the UK.
Salary: £35,000-£38,000 pa (Some assistance with relocation expenses may be available for an exceptional candidate)

We are looking for a passionate, energetic experienced person with a proven ability to succeed in a management role, in develop organisational strategies, tracking fundraising and managing stakeholder relationships with strengths in financial management and budgeting, knowledge of Marketing and Communication Strategies and excellent written and oral communication.
