This is a fabulous opportunity to work for the Tank Museum as the Events Executive where you will play a crucial role in assisting the Events Manager in the delivery of all Museum corporate and private events, ensuring a seamless service with clients, visitors and internal customers delivering the highest standards on all events. Each event is as unique as the next.
This is a ‘hands on role’ and the duties will be varied including operational set-up and breakdown of all events as well as assisting on event days with delivery. You will have specific responsibility for the event back office admin procedures, maintaining systems in the planning and booking of events. Together with supporting the events team in the day to day coordination and planning of the events calendar, including our biggest event of the year Tankfest.
We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual with a genuine passion for events and operations. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative in a high paced environment.
Excellent administration and organisational skills required with a proven track record of initiating and implementing back office systems. Experience of working in an event organisational role is desirable.
