Creative Facilitation skills workshop Mon 25 April, Bath, Creativity Works

The course takes participants through a series of practical, creative exercises with discussion and reflection looking at: the role of a facilitator, icebreakers, introductory activities, energising activities, boundaries and sensitivities, group behaviour and journaling as a reflection tool. Activities include: movement, using natural objects, low tech animation, sound, craft activities and writing. Also included is a short presentation on socially engaged art as a framework for creative facilitation.

The workshop is a sound introduction or refresher on the skills needed to become a creative facilitator. It is suitable for creatives and artists who are interested in running workshops or creative groups. It is part of the co|Create series of socially engaged artists’ continued professional development.
