Dorset Youth Dance Launches New 7-11s Class

Dorset Youth Dance (DYD), managed by charitable organisation Activate Performing Arts, launches a new creative contemporary dance class for 7-11 year olds.

DYD brings young dancers the chance to create, excel and perform in a Spring – Summer ’18 term of contemporary dance classes, based in Dorchester.

Sea Music - Outdoor Dance Performance

Using Sea Music as inspiration Rosalind Conlon, Activate's Dance Producer commissioned professional choreographer Sophie Nüzel to work with a group of volunteer participants of all ages (age12-70 years) and together they devised a piece created by listening to the sounds of the sea and the stories it has to tell.
