Assistant Producer, Inside Out Dorset Festival & Project Manager - Youth Dance

For Sammy, a love for the arts was sparked at the age of 2 and has only deepened over time. Born in Dorset, she swapped the sea for the city and attended Middlesex University where she completed a degree in Dance Studies, whilst gaining experience with organisations such as Chisenhale Dance Space. Sammy joined the Activate team in 2015 as Projects & Promotions Assistant (Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries) and has held a variety of roles since. She is now the Assistant Producer for Inside Out Dorset festival and the Project Managers for CREATE! and Dorset Youth Dance, whilst also working as a Freelance Dance Artist and Creative Collaborator.

When they’re not working: Sammy enjoys dancing, reading and a decent G&T.
