In 2016, we will be launching a new youth dance company for Dorset and we would like to invite youth dancers to take part in the first performance project of the year.
This will involve rehearsals during January and February leading to a public performance at Spring Forward youth dance platform at The Octagon Theatre in Yeovil on Wednesday 24th February.
Transport to the performance event will be provided.
January 17th AND 31st from 2-4pm
Dance Studio at 1610 Dorchester Sports Centre, Coburg Rd, Dorchester DT1 2HR
February 18th AND 19th from 12 – 3.30pm
Dance Studio at Budmouth College, Chickerell Rd, Weymouth, Dorset DT4 9SY
Professional dancer and dance leader, Ki Shaw, will run all rehearsals and attend the performance event with the company.
The fee for taking part is £25 per person. Payment can be arranged in two instalments and a small number of bursaries are available.
We are looking for enthusiasm and an interest in acquiring new dance skills and making performance together and welcome both experienced dancers and those with no or little experience but who are up for a challenge.

We offer young people from the age of 14 – 21 yrs from Dorchester, Weymouth, Portland and surrounding areas the opportunity to work with leading national dance artists and create pieces that are performed at prestigious venues and events throughout Dorset.
In addition to this we offer a bespoke training program to develop your business knowledge and industry tips on how to manage a dance company and create a portfolio career in today’s performing arts industry.
