Around 25 artist from a diverse range of disciplines came together with the idea of developing their understanding and knowledge of devising outdoor performance.

The weekend was hosted by Activate Performing Arts who manage Inside Out Dorset (www.insideoutdorset.org.uk)

 and Periplum, the internationally renowned performance company were engaged to lead the participants.

The feedback was outstanding EVERY participant felt energised, creatively challenged and left hungry to begin putting the learning - and the new contacts made - to creative use.

Springhead's stunning gardens became the stage and the group were down and dirty in no time, making use of the fruits of Autumn within the spectacular setting.

Scenarios were created and acted out, beliefs and preconceptions were confronted and reversed.

It is hoped the artists will continue to meet and collaborate on future projects.
