PaperFace Theatre create performance and art pieces that break into the realm of bizzare and unearlthly worlds. Yet have a very organic apporach to theatre making and the results that are produced from that.
the slightly abusrd work that comes out of PapaerFace, has been devised, with some key elemnts and stimuli in mind:

PaperFace Theatre dabble in a wide range of genres of theatre and art, but are considered to focus their attentions on  visual experience, physicality and puppetry/object manipulation. They are often drawn towards outdoors and site-specific forms, performing in art festivals and the like.
Theatre for children, is at the forefront of their work, creating new and exciting pieces of theatre and art for childrento become immersed in and take a valuable experience from it.Although children's theatre is a large aspect of PaperFace's work, they also tend their hands in more contemporary and older audinces, also creting enviroments where adults too can become lost and fully immersed in.
PaperFace experiment heavilly with light and colour within their theatre making and art. What we see in art and performance is very integral to their work.
