Project Manager - Sherborne Artslink

An enthusiastic Project Manager is required for ArtsLink Fizz!, an arts, health and wellbeing project devised by Sherborne ArtsLink.  It will be delivered in the local community to include the town of Sherborne, Dorset and surrounding villages.

There are three main beneficiaries and projects:

Dance for people with Parkinson’s

Memory Art sessions across multiple art forms for people with memory loss

Art and craft sessions for parents facing additional challenges eg, isolation, health problems, children with disabilities etc

Plus, an annual celebration of creativity which will bring all these strands together with participants from other work undertaken by ArtsLink, plus the broader community.

We are seeking a Project Manager with a background in community work and the arts.  They must be able to communicate with a wide range of people, be flexible, creative and reliable, have the ability to lead, enable and work as part of a small team.  They will also have a track record of working successfully to deadlines and meeting targets.

Both the project and the Project Manager position are funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

The post is 20 hours per week on a fixed term contract for 4 years
