Innovative Digital Marketing Officer

Q Productions is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Digital Marketing Officer with strong and proven Digital Marketing experience in the theatre industry, to work on campaign delivery and digital strategy, with a focus on maximising brand awareness and income from productions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

• To support the Head of Marketing in the creation and delivery of dynamic marketing campaigns for theatre, events/hires and developing departments whilst maintaining a consistent brand message across all platforms

• To manage and report on digital campaign initiatives including email marketing, digital advertising and social media campaigns

• To create and distribute engaging digital content across a range of platforms

Audience Development

•The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing to maximise engagement with our current audience and attract a new audience

•To gather, analyse and present audience/user data, which will assist Q Productions and PQA in formulating financial and social objectives and assist in the business planning process

•To work closely with the Creative team across all projects to ensure that engagement activities are linked to and informed by audience development objectives

Digital Strategy

•To act as digital champion for the entire company (including all sister companies) – to ensure that digital opportunities are considered during creative conversations

•To deliver the Q Productions digital and social media strategy for the full range of the activities, maintaining and developing the Q Production brand, voice and profile in the digital arena

•To regularly update Q Productions digital platforms, including the website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Person Specification


• A proven track record of theatre/production marketing

• Experience in delivering innovative and successful marketing campaigns to develop new audiences and opportunities to achieve targets

•Experience and flair for creating engaging marketing materials and managing design briefs

•Exceptional writing skills with an ability to write informative, accurate and creative copy

•Up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital and social media marketing and communications techniques

•Experience of managing social media channels
