Arts Marketing Professional, Activate's Major Projects

Arts Marketing Professional – Activate Major Projects

10 month freelance contract for immediate start. Fee: £11,000

This year through to the end of September 2018 Activate will be leading on two major arts projects: Wayfaring and Inside Out Dorset, along with associated touring work and engagement projects.  Whilst our current Marketing and Communications Manager is temporarily seconded to developing investment in the programme, we require an Arts Marketing professional to deliver our marketing for the period between March and December 2018.

Inside Out Dorset is an iconic biennial festival that has reached over 100,000 people since it began in 2005 brining ‘extraordinary events to extraordinary places.’  ‘Wayfaring’ will be travelling to three significant sites between the Norfolk and Dorset coasts between May and September 2018 accompanied by a digital art work.  Both Wayfaring and Inside Out Dorset are of significant scale and should attract regional, national and potentially international interest.

We are looking for someone who loves what we do and wants to share it far and wide.

During the run up to the festival and the festival itself in September, a ‘full-time’ presence will be required.

Closing Date For Applications:   Midday Thursday 1st March 2018

Interviews To Be Held:                 Tuesday 13th March 2018

Immediate Start:                             March 2018
