Arts Education Centre Manager

We are looking for a highly responsible, creative, energetic, intelligent and caring individual to run our award winning after school and holiday arts club in Boscombe, Bournemouth.  The candidate must be self-employed, with a valid UTR number, DBS, hold a current public liability certificate, a current paediatric first aid certificate and provide two relevant references. If you do not have the above you will be expected to attend the training prior to commencement of the role, the fees will be deducted from your first contracted payment.

This is a funded post and is offered on a fixed-term contract to a freelance professional with considerable experience working in the arts with children aged 6 - 14 in either a childcare or primary school setting (Ofsted registered). The position is offered initially for a 3-month probationary period, with a view to continuing the role until September 2019. The post will be reviewed quarterly by the Charity Manager to ensure targets are met. 

Hours (closed bank holidays and weekends)
Term-time 2:45 pm - 6.15pm - The daily fee for after school club is £25
School Holidays 7:45 am - 6:15pm - The daily fee for holiday arts club is £90 

We would consider a job share, if two candidates have equal ability, complement each other and desire flexi-working hours.
