LissomLilt is a company of eight graduating students from The Arts University College at Bournemouth. We are an experimental theatre company creating visually exciting and fresh new work. Our company’s ethos is to devise organic, innovative and imaginative theatre, suitable for a range of audiences. Through a collaboration of movement and music we aim to create ensemble theatre that is energetic, playful and physical.

- Last Man

Our first piece ‘Last man’ is devised around the stimulus of Mary Shelley’s “The Last Man”. Although it doesn’t take the direct storyline of Shelley’s work it does enjoy taking a comical and physical dive through the themes her work explores, as well as those of other classic apocalyptic pieces such as H.G. Wells’ “The War of The Worlds”.
The plot sees three strangers meeting by coincidence after years of being alone, trapped in the belief that they were the last man on earth. A clash of personalities and beliefs develops and we see the strains such a change in situation brings upon the trio.
