Elevate 

“Elevate” U.Dance Platform brings together 150 young people to celebrate youth dance in Bournemouth!

The platform has become an annual event and is organised by Activate Performing Arts through the Community Youth Dance Project in partnership with Active Dorset, the County Sports Partnership.

Elevate offers up to 150 young dancers the chance to take part in workshops with visiting artists, work with a professional technical and lighting team and perform as part of a county youth dance event. 

Activate works with local youth dance groups from across Dorset to programme edgy and innovative new dance works. This includes some collaboration between local dance groups, solos and young people presenting their own choreography alongside contemporary, street, ballet, tap and physical theatre group performances.
