AIM
To empower service users to be creative and confidence through the performing arts (dance, drama and singing), including music, props and exercise which will, enable them to gain confidence, social interaction, self-esteem and increase health and wellbeing.

OBJECTIVES
• Provide a safe and fun environment for service users to participate in theatre and performing arts related activities; (Singing, dance and drama)
• Promote fun and enjoyment, health and wellbeing
• Inspire/facilitate service users to seek further dramatic experience through regular performances and shows within the community
• Attend performing arts events/workshops (if applicable on group day) to instigate and explore interests;
• Support service users to gain new skills and knowledge in drama and all aspects of performing arts including dance, creativity and choreography
• Improve motor skills, spatial awareness, balance and core stability;
• Promote individual’s sense of movement and coordination of body;
• Encourage individual creativity and ownership of creative movements into choreography to increase self-confidence and promote leadership skills
• Explore new and effective ways of working with and delivering emotions and characteristics;
• is a way of expressing who you are as an individual and as a group;
• is a language for communication;
• Produce a record of service user participation in day to day activities and performance incorporating photographic evidence if practicable;
• Physical exercise in dance (including warm ups, aerobic activity, stretching and cooling down), activities and relaxation to encourage and promote imagination through imagery;
• Provide a safe and fun environment for service users to participate in dance and exercise related activities;
• Promote fun and enjoyment, fitness, health and well being through dance and exercise
• Explore new and effective ways of working with and delivering dance
