Paul is a professional Actor, Singer, Private Tutor and Workshop Facilitator available to perform professionally, as well lead group workshops, small classes or private sessions with those of a varied age range and ability.

As a professional Actor he has performed in a range of different productions including Classical ('Measure For Measure', 'The Winters Tale', 'The Importance of Being Earnest'), New-writing (Rummage Theatres's 'Captive Minds') and Devised (The Unimaginable's 'Fade Away') theatre pieces.

As a Singer he specialises in Musical Theatre and Contemporary Pop Music, as well as Swing, Jazz and Popular Music from 1950s and 60s. His teaching within this field retains a focus on honing vocal technique through the correct manner of breathing. He also offers Music Theory and Acting Through Song training during specialised workshops/sessions, as well as working on Audition pieces and technique.

As a Workshop Facilitator in the field of Acting & Drama he specialises in Voice Work and Approaches to Rehearsal Practise (Stanislavski, Meisner). His focus lies in developing a firm grasp on voice and acting technique, confidence building as a performer and creating a strong awareness of theatre practises, practitioners, theatre writing and styles. He furthermore specialises in Script Work, Group Devising and Improvisation. Through his extensive background in the field of workshop leading he has taught a wide variety of sessions for groups all over Dorset and Somerset. These include; Private Students (for Exams and Auditions), T.I.E Projects, Vulnerable Adults with Learning Disabilities, After-School Primary Clubs, Regular Theatre Workshop Sessions in Dance Schools and Theatre Company Workshop-Projects. Moreover he has also been asked to utilise his Drama resources in team-building sessions for teachers of Primary Schools.

Able to cater the delivery of sessions to the requirements of the group or client, his vast experience of coordinating and delivering workshops has allowed him hone his teaching style and adjust his content, accordingly.

He furthermore holds a Fully Enhanced CRB check (Update Service). Qualifications: 2.1 in Drama and English Literature from Aberystwyth University (University of Wales), Grade 5 Music Theory & Grade 8 Singing (ABRSM) as well as a Double Distinction in Gold Medal Acting and Verse & Prose (LAMDA).
