The results of the draw are announced
The draw to determine which productions will take part in Fringe TheatreFest 2012 took place Sunday 29th January. You can see the results here.
What's it all about?
Now in its sixth year, Fringe TheatreFest is unlike any other Fringe Theatre Festival in the UK - but is very like a whole raft of Fringe Theatre Festivals in Canada. For a very modest participation fee (£35), productions get a venue, three performances, a technician, front-of-house staff, box-office facilities, an entry in the Fringe TheatreFest brochure and 100% of the box-office take.
Fringe TheatreFest is a lively, friendly celebration of theatre in its many and varied forms. It provides theatre-makers with an opportunity to develop new work, to put existing work in front of new audiences, to network with other theatre-makers, to see a range of inspirational work in a concentrated period of time and to forge introductions with regional promoters.
what else?As well as performances in the established venues we are more than open to facilitating site-specific work, indoors or out doors. There are plans afoot for more co-ordinated activity in open-air public spaces around Barnstaple in this year's Fringe TheatreFest.
